Family Practice Associates Opens Shepherdsville Office

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 19, 2006) Family Practice Associates is excited to announce the opening of a satellite office in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.  Beginning Monday, May 22, 2006 area residents will have a new location to serve their health care needs ranging from pediatric to adult services.
With nearly 100 years of combined experience, Drs. Michael Needleman, John Sullivan, Robert Scharff, Christopher Smalley, Ling Qiu, and Megan Ward, ARNP provide health care for the entire family. 
The new facility is located at 191 Adam Shepherd Parkway, Suite 1, in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.  The additional location joins the original site at 7612 Shepherdsville Road in Louisville, which has been open since 1974.

On site X-ray, laboratory and minor procedure capability provide much needed care to the Bullitt County which has been federally designated as a Health Professional Shortage Area.

The new office is open Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Appointments may be scheduled by calling (502) 543-4119 or (502) 955-4073.
 The new location expands the medical care growth into this community.  On May 15, Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare also opened Medical Center South, an Outpatient Care Center complete with a 24-7 emergency department and surgery center located in Bullitt County.
