Fugatte Named Chief Nursing Officer for Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare

Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare (JHSMH) recently named Cheryl L. Fugatte, R.N., M.S.N., to the position of Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). In this position, she will have over-site for nursing in all JHSMH facilities. Fugatte has more than 30 years of nursing and managerial experience, much of it at senior levels.
She started in the medical-surgical unit at Jewish Hospital on May 20, 1974. While working at Jewish, Fugatte earned her B.S. in Nursing from Bellarmine University in 1983. She then achieved her M.S. in Nursing, also from Bellarmine in 1990. Fugatte moved to Frazier in 1991 as Director of Nursing, and later became Vice President for Inpatient and Outpatient Services.
